Visiting Abu Dhabi

As the capital of the United Arab Emirates, this is one of the world’s most prosperous and rapidly developing cities. In little over half a century it has seen a dramatic transformation from a small Bedouin settlement to a thriving business and tourism centre of global stature.

The UAE’s culture is tolerant and welcoming, and visitors are sure to be charmed by the genuine friendliness of the people. Abu Dhabi is a melting pot of nationalities and cultures and the city’s effort to become modern and cosmopolitan is proof of an open-minded and liberal outlook. There’s a healthy balance between western influences and eastern traditions.

Visitors to Abu Dhabi can enjoy a break here no matter what they're after. If it's sightseeing, then there are a host of cultural activities to experience and fantastic architecture to explore. The depth of galleries is also growing with the Louvre and Guggenheim due in the next few years. If you're after relaxation in the sun then there are fantastic beaches, superb hotel pools and more than enough spas to satisfy the most pampered of people. Or, if staying active and having as much fun as possible is your thing, there are desert activities, all manner of watersports and top nights out to be had. Come and explore Abu Dhabi, you won't be disappointed.
