If you’ve driven down Al Hadiqa Street alongside Safa Park recently, you would have noticed the sprawling new, off-white development on the corner of Al Wasl Road. This is the new Wasl Square complex that’s slated to become the ‘ultimate lifestyle location for Dubai’.

But Wasl Square – dubbed the Jewel of Jumeirah – is not just a neighbourhood retail hotspot. Among the several food and beverage outlets, the development also includes 140 new apartments and 130 modern townhouses which are already proving popular due to its excellent location close to the park and within easy reach of Sheikh Zayed Road.
Developers have just recently invited interested parties to check out its second phase of residential units: one- and two-bedroom apartments. Rents for a one-bedroom apartment start at Dhs.75,555 and Dhs.92,555 for two bedrooms.
No doubt this new injection of modern living in one of Dubai’s oldest neighbourhoods is set to boost the area’s popularity that much more.
