In a nutshell: The fabulous Friday French brunch at Imperium is possibly one of Dubai's best kept secrets. But considering the delicious food and drink on offer for very reasonable prices, we doubt it will stay this way for long. Located in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, guests can enjoy indoor or outdoor dining from 13:00 to 16:00 every week.
Atmosphere: Imperium’s décor is truly impressive. With high ceilings, touches of gold paint and stunning chandeliers, it’s not difficult to feel as if you’re in a different league of Friday brunches.
Food: There’s classic, home-made and hearty French favourites, as well as continental delicacies on offer. The seafood selection is extensive to say the least, and it was clear to see that a few diners were happy with just oysters and champagne for the entirety of their meal. There are also plenty of salad options, as well as hearty hot food and a carving grill. The dessert station is also impressive, with a DIY frozen yoghurt counter, as well as pudding, crepes, waffles and more.

Clientele: With a mix of families and groups of friends, there’s more of a focus on the food rather than the extensive beverage menu. Things stay classy throughout the day!
Price guide: There are three brunch options available: Classic with mocktails for Dhs.275, Emperor’s with house beverages for Dhs.395, and Sovereign Bubbly with free flowing bubby for Dhs.550. Children between the age of 4 and 12 years get 50% off.
Until the end of March 2013, diners will receive a complimentary upgrade to the next level of brunch, so Sovereign Bubbly is only Dhs.395 per person right now. To book, visit Imperium's information page.
