You're in luck! The Emirates ID Authority (EIDA) has launched a new fast-track service that allows applicants to obtain their Emirates ID cards within 24 hours. Available in four EIDA centres at the moment, applicants can apply for their ID at a registration centre directly without having to fill a form at a typing office beforehand. Dubai’s Al Barsha centre provides the new service – which is priced at Dhs.150 – as do Abu Dhabi’s Musaffah and Al Wahda branches, as well as Sharjah’s.
