Shopping Districts
Where to Shop
If venturing into the gargantuan Dubai Mall exhausts you at the very thought, try Dubai Marina Mall, handy for the Marsa Dubai end of town, or Mercato Shopping Mall towards the northern end of Jumeira Road. Both are a more manageable size and usually pretty calm, but have a good range of popular shops.
For a breath of fresh air – literally – head to Wasl Square or Citywalk, both in Jumeira. These outdoor complexes have a more interesting range of shops, as well as lovely alfresco cafes and several amenities.
For the true Middle Eastern shopping experience, head for Dubai Creek, where the buzzing souks of Deira and Bur Dubai are and haggle to your heart’s content.
