The nightlife scene in Los Angeles has so much to offer it’s hard to do it justice in a few short paragraphs. A night on the town can be anything you want it to be – from a quiet intimate evening to a raucous all night affair. There are upscale cocktail bars where people dress to impress, hole-in-the-wall dive bars with drunken regulars, clubs with world-famous DJs, rooftop bars with incredible views, pubs with pints and trivia, karaoke bars, sports bars, you name it, LA’s got it. The Eastside is known for its hipster bars, where the patrons pride themselves on looking like they just rolled out of bed. The Westside tends to have a more clean-cut, tucked in vibe. The Downtown scene has grown quite a bit in recent years and is a popular destination due to the high concentration of bars in relatively close proximity. If clubbing is your passion, Hollywood is the place to be, while West Hollywood (WeHo, as some call it) offers a ton of options for the gay and lesbian community.
