Visas
Visitors from every country must obtain a visa to enter Jordan, but most nationalities can receive a tourist visa upon arrival at the airport, or arrange one beforehand at the Jordan Embassy or Consulate.

Climate
Summers are hot and dry, with cool evenings. From May to October, the weather is sunny with temperatures hovering around 23°C. Winters are cool to cold and wet, with temperatures dipping as low as 16°C. Most rain falls between October and March, and snow can occur between the months of December and February.

Arabic; English is widely spoken and understood in urban areas.
