Getting there
Fly from Dubai or Abu Dhabi to Muscat with Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, or Oman Air, from Dhs.500 return. Fly direct from Dubai to Salalah with flydubai or Oman Air, from around Dhs.850.
Visas
Most travellers will be issued a single entry visa on arrival for Dhs.50. Dubai and Qatar residents do not require a visa if travelling direct, but single women may require a letter of no objection from their employer. Visitors to Dibba must pre-arrange their visa with their accommodation.

Climate
Most of Oman has warm, sunny weather year-round. The climate is mild from October to April, but temperatures can reach the high 40s during the summer with humidity as high as 90%. Salalah has a tropical monsoon season from June to September, when it is cool, cloudy and rainy.
