This enjoyable route takes you from the edge of the desert through secluded villages to small pools, quiet strolls and plentiful greenery. It is perfect for the wetter months when its seasonal pools, streams and waterfalls are in full flow and the oasis scenery provides a contrast to the dry desert. Wadi Tayyibah is the route that once used to link Dubai to the east coast; it can be driven in conjunction with a trip to east coast towns or more off-road trips, such as Route 17, for a refreshing long weekend.
