An interesting route for culture vultures, Wadi Helo's archaeological sites, castles and forts are very accessible, starting just off the roadside. Hikers can find plenty of interest here too, discovering further evidence of the valley's history while exploring the trails between the remains that are scattered across the surrounding mountains.
