The major highlight of the hike up Yanis mountain above Wadi Naqab is walking around the edge of the mountain on the stepped surface created by the separation of its layers of sedimentary rock. There is some exposure in this location, but the path is fairly sturdy. You just have to pay attention to where you're putting your feet, rather than being distracted by the views.
