The New Corniche

The Corniche should not be confused with the New Corniche or Eastern Corniche, which runs along the north eastern side of the island overlooking mangroves. It’s a popular place for picnics and a spot of fishing, with shaded areas for the many joggers and cyclists to take a break. For bird watchers, the views of the mangroves provide a great opportunity to see some of Abu Dhabi's feathered residents at relatively close quarters.
