Shipping
Shipping to anywhere in the world from Germany is simple – if you’re willing to pay handsomely. Deutsche Post should be your first port of call for small items (under two kilogrammes). Its website (www.deutschepost.de) has some information in English about sending and receiving items. It’s possible to send secure, express, air or regular mail deliveries to all countries and continents. If you’re sending heavier articles, consider international courier companies such as FedEx (www.fedex.com/de_english), the Deutsche Post-owned DHL (www.dhl.de) and UPS (www.ups.com). Some art galleries and furniture stores will organise shipping for an additional fee – but be sure to find out how much they charge before you sign on the dotted line.
