The food here is mainly local except for an Indian and Thai restaurant and a McDonald’s. You can catch a ferry from here to Lamma Island for a hike and a bite to eat at one of the many seafood restaurants.
Aberdeen Boat Club and Aberdeen Marina Club are in Shum Wan but are exclusive and open to members only.

Ocean Park is a good venue for a family outing. It has a kids’ world, cable cars to the other side of the mountain and the marine world, shark aquarium, rides and a revolving restaurant. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 18:00. Entry costs $185 for adults, and $93 for children between 3 and 11 years. An annual pass costs $295 and allows unlimited visits for a year. You can even have your wedding and birthday celebration inside the park.
