Los Angeles has a rich history of supporting comedy. Be it film and TV or stand up and improvisation, comedians come from all over the country and the world to perfect their act. One of the best features of the LA comedy scene is that because there are so many shows going on at once, you’ll be able to experience headlining acts at a fraction of the price. Of course some of the larger chain clubs like the Laugh Factory can be expensive when factoring in drinks and food, but most keep costs down by utilising volunteers and doing as many shows per night as possible. The UCB theatre generally features three shows a night and almost all are under $10.
