Theatre in Muscat is limited, but there are occasional professional performances. The amateur theatre companies always welcome new members, either on stage or behind the scenes. The Muscat Amateur Theatre is one of these and there are regular performances at the InterContinental which usually includes a buffet dinner. There are also the occasional murder mystery dinners where you’re encouraged to display your thespian skills by being part of the performance.
