Shopping Districts
Where to Shop
Some places like Mushrif and Muroor are a little more sparse of great shops, aside from Mushrif Mall and a large Carrefour towards the Grand Mosque area; however, as you get closer to the city centre many independent outlets start appearing.
Once there, just about anything you need is catered for in Downtown Abu Dhabi or in the numerous smaller shopping centres that follow the Corniche, right down to Emirates Palace. Alternatively, you can try your haggling skills at the souks towards the top of the Corniche near Mina Port. Places like Saadiyat Island can hold a few surprises too, like the growing selection of high-end shops in The Collection precinct at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort.
