Located in the centre of Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood (formerly Bastakiya) this is one of Dubai's most interesting galleries. A restored windtower house, it is worth a visit for its architecture and displays of local and international art. The gallery hosts many exhibitions throughout the year, as well as free film screenings. It is also home to Dubai's hippest hotel and a great cafe. Another branch is open at DIFC.
