Finding a Home
Most people use a real estate agent when looking for a home. Set your priorities before searching and be prepared for trade offs. You may like an apartment but not the neighbourhood, or you may get a very small apartment for your budget with many facilities. You should take into consideration public transport or buying a car if you’ll be commuting. Be sure about how high a floor you are comfortable living on, as an apartment on the 21st floor may have stunning views but what’s the point if your legs turn to jelly every time you look down or step out on the balcony. Another important factor is the security and safety aspect. Look around to see how well the building is managed, and ask the agent as many questions as you can think of.
