Even if it doesn’t seem to be your heart’s desire when you choose your living space, it is sure to grow on you. Each neighbourhood is rich with its own flavour and tempo, and many New Yorkers, once used to their own neighbourhood, become so provincial that they are reluctant to stray to other areas of the city.
