More and more, full-service DVD and video rental shops are giving way to ATM style DVD machines. Online DVD rental has not caught on in France the way it has in other countries and there are still a handful of excellent, albeit struggling, specialist shops which often require an annual membership. Prime Time Video is an excellent DVD and video rental store which specialises in films in English so it's a good place to go if you’re looking for the English version of that French film you couldn’t understand. Vidéo Fast has a great selection of DVDs for rent and sale while La Onzieme Heure has a vast selection of classic films. FNAC has an excellent selection as well. Increasingly, people are downloading their films (legally) from www.FNAC.com, www.amazon.fr and www.MK2.fr.
