Fruit Juices

It seems juice bars are popping-up all the time as the concept grows in popularity with healthy minded Parisians. Some spots are designed for lunch-on-the-go while others offer seating at a bar or table. Guests at Bob’s Juice Bar (15 rue Lucien Sampaix, 06 82 63 72 74) near Canal St Martin share a community table to enjoy soups, salads, juices and smoothies with the option of spirulina or guarana supplements. With locations at Odéon, Bastille and Montorgueil, Wanna Juice (www.wannajuice.com) uses no added sugars and only fresh fruit to make ‘remedies’ such as the Jetlag Joker and extracted juices like the Sunny Ginjaninja with apples, carrots, oranges and ginger. They also serve an inexpensive formule including a smoothie and a soup, salad or sandwich. Paradis du Fruit (www.leparadisdufruit.fr, 08 26 10 04 08) has nearly 20 addresses serving hot meals as well as juicy concoctions like the Josephine Baker with passion fruit, mango and coconut.
