Changi Tours
Created by the Changi Chapel & Museum, the Battlefield Tour and Changi WWII are dedicated to the memory of all who fought and suffered during World War Two. The tours offer you insights into battle strategies and losses and life during World War Two. The Battlefield Tour covers Mt Faber, Labrador Park, Alexandra Hospital and the Kranji War Memorial. The Changi WWII tour offers a glimpse of life as a prisoner of war and visits the Changi Chapel and Museum, Changi Beach, which was the site of the Sook Ching Massacre, Changi Village, the Johore Battery and the Selarang Barracks (a Japanese POW camp). The Battlefield Tour costs $25 per adult, $20 per child, and the Changi WWII tour costs $40 per adult, $20 per child. Journeys and Malaysia and Singapore Travel Centre are among the tour operators who offer these tours.


Invasion Tour
Follow the footsteps of Japanese soldiers as they launched the invasion of Singapore during the World War II. Starting from the North, the four-hour tour covers the Japanese War Memorial built by Australian POWs, Kranji River, Kranji War Memorial, Bukit Chandu, Pasir Panjang and Labrador Park, and Alexander Barracks. Peranakan Trail
Discover the history, culture and lifestyle of the Peranakan babas and nonyas. You’ll be taken on a walk through a spice garden, see a fascinating display of Peranakan costume and jewellery, look at the rich architecture and finally enjoy some nonya delicacies. Tours start at 08:30 with a hotel pick-up and cost $39 for adults, $19.50 for children under 10.


Rags to Riches Tour With Trishaw Ride
This tour allows you to pretend to be an old-fashioned towkay (a Chinese tycoon) for the day. The tour starts at the Chinese Heritage Centre and takes in a traditional teahouse, a trishaw ride through Chinatown, and on to Boat Quay where you’ll see the legacy of some of the Singaporean towkays. This three-and-a-half hour tour starts with pick up at 13:30 and cost $75 for adults, $37 for children under 10.
