Emergency Services
With the exception of elite private clinics that you’re unlikely to stumble across, all hospitals accept patients with public and private insurance and have emergency rooms. Should you need immediate help, dial 112 to reach emergency services, who will then send an ambulance. German ambulances respond within 10 minutes and often include an emergency doctor who can either provide treatment there and then or take a patient to the nearest emergency room.
