Adults can apply to study at any of the universities mentioned above. Many degree and masters courses are offered on a part-time basis, although classes for these are often held during the day, so you’ll have to negotiate with your employer if you’re working. Two open universities, the Open University Malaysia and Wawasan Open University are geared specifically towards working adults, and hold classes in the evenings and at weekends. If your field is specialised and you can’t find a suitable course offered in Malaysia, a university from your home country that offers distance learning may be your best option.
