Many laundromats also wash clothes: outer-borough sites run $8-10 for the first 5-10 pounds, $1-2 per additional, Manhattan venues can be pricier. By law, lost-goods policies must be posted. There are usually reimbursement caps. In new/luxury buildings, launderettes may be in basements or by floor. These are convenient – just respect sharing machines with others.
