Not surprisingly there are many opportunities for volunteer and charity work in Paris. Depending upon your proficiency in French there are a variety of possibilities. As in your home country, places like hospitals, schools and shelters are always looking for people willing to donate their time. It is perfectly legal to work as a tourist volunteer in France as long as you’re not being paid.
