With everything from cards, balloons, candles, table settings and room decorations to gift wrapping, fancy dress outfits, bouncy castles and entertainers; the choice for both children’s and adults’ parties is comprehensive. Carrefour and Toys R Us stock party essentials such as themed plates, cups and hats.

If you’re after a fancy dress costume, many of the small tailors in Abu Dhabi are able to copy designs from pictures. Birthday cakes are available in the bakery section of all major supermarkets, although many independent bakeries in the city are capable of stunning creations.
