Although the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia is first and foremost a legitimate government facility examining techniques of forest regeneration, it also welcomes visitors to its museum and arboretum. You are encouraged to walk the somewhat challenging jungle trails through 1,482 acres of primary rainforest. The most popular attraction is the Canopy Walk, but there is lots more to see.
