Education
Several multicultural secondary schools serve the area, though there are none in West Harbour. Henderson High School has recently been criticised by the Education Review Office for some very poor quality teaching. Other options are Massey High School, Rutherford High School and Waitakere College. There are several Christian schools, a Hare Krishna primary school in Riverhead and a special school in Henderson.
