You’ll never be far from support in Tokyo, with some mainstay addiction support groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, having regular English meetings at various locations throughout the city. The classified section in Metropolis magazine (www.metropolis.co.jp), in Support under Help, has listings for a number of groups with contact details, or when and where they meet. The Tokyo British Clinic also provides help for alcoholics, along with treating other addictions.
