Massage

Berliners often treat themselves to a massage, especially in winter when they help relieve seasonal depression commonly brought on by limited daylight. Many types of massage are available, the most common being Thai. It is difficult to find a massage for less than €50 per hour, with prices at high-end spas around €150 per hour. Obvious as it may seem, it is worth a reminder that ‘massage salons’ with lit-up red hearts in the window or a buzzer to get in rather than a storefront offer sexual as well as massage services. Prostitution is not illegal in Germany, and many brothels front as massage parlours, so try to avoid an awkward walk-in situation.
