This souk in the heart of Deira re-opened in 2010, two years after the original burned down in a fire that destroyed most of the buildings. Before the inferno, this souk was a big draw for visitors and locals alike, and the new facilities – more modern, less rustic than the Naif of old – still bring crowds of shoppers and tourists back to look for bargains from the range of goods on sale.
