PJ is well known for its wide variety of neighbourhood restaurants and everyone has a favourite. Out of Africa (03 7955 3432) is popular with families and Fatty Crab (03 7804 5758) in Taman Megah is a great Chinese seafood place. Raju Restaurant (03 7956 1361) is recommended for Indian food, and they do catering too. Rennie’s (03 7955 2541) on Jalan Gasing is a popular bar with older expats while Laundry (03 7728 1715) at The Curve attracts a younger crowd. Next door to the Curve is the Cathay Cineplex (www.cathaycineplexes.com.my) which hosts live events as well as showing films. Sunway Lagoon (www.sunway.com.my/lagoon) in Bandar Sunway is an enormous theme park with a large water park section and some great rides. There’s also a petting zoo and ice rink here at Sunway Pyramid. After all that eating and excitement, calm down at the Asian Arts Museum (03 7967 3805) on Jalan Universiti.
