PJ has excellent shopping facilities. The huge 1 Utama mall has a branch of just about every major retailer in Malaysia, plus a Jusco supermarket, Marks & Spencer and a soft play centre with drop and shop services. Close by a major new shopping development at Mutiara Damansara houses IKEA (www.ikea.com.my), Tesco (www.tesco.com.my), Cold Storage, furniture retailer Courts, Borders and Mothercare among others. The two major complexes here are Ikano and The Curve (www.thecurve.com.my). The Curve is newer and has a good selection of bars and restaurants. IKEA has a drop and shop service for children over three. Back in the more established sections of PJ, the Amcorp Mall on Jalan Timur has a great weekend flea market and Sunway Pyramid (www.sunway.com.my/pyramid) has more than 350 outlets including a Pet Lovers centre. There’s a large organic grocery store, Country Farm (03 7880 9936) on Jalan PJU 3/49.
