Private dentistry in Oman is, like most other private medical services, of a high standard and you’ll find many international practitioners, such as those at American Dental Center, which is operated by an Ohio-based consultancy. Not only does American Dental Center offer all the usual services (from cosmetic and orthodontics to implants and jaw repositioning) but it also houses several state-of-the-art offerings, like reduced radiation X-rays and the Whitesmile whitening system. 

Prices in Oman tend to match the level of service (fairly high), and unfortunately most standard health insurance packages will not cover dental costs (except for emergency treatment required as the result of an accident). Most policies do offer the option of paying a higher premium to cover dentistry.
