One of the toughest parts of expat life is the loss of your immediate support network back home (friends and family). In 1992, Unicef together with the Ministry of Health set up CSG (Community Support Groups). With the help of the Omani Women’s Association, CSG holds workshops and training to implement support networks throughout the region. 

In addition, health centres, private clinics and hospitals are a good source of information for finding support groups.
