Highly Skilled Knowledge Migrant Scheme
This visa only applies to you if you are highly skilled in a specific area of the labour force; the burden of proof (and the majority of the paper work) is the responsibility of the employer. You will need a valid passport, health insurance that covers you in the Netherlands, a contract or declaration of employment from the employer, and be receiving a gross income of at least €46,451 or €34,130 if you’re under 30. You may also need to undergo a tuberculosis test. Once this has been approved you can apply for the residence permit. Your employer should complete the paperwork but you will need to sign it. You will receive a sticker in your passport granting you the right to live, and most likely work, while you are waiting for the permit to be processed.
