To marry a Chinese person in Beijing, your spouse must be a Beijing resident. Otherwise, youfll have to go to their home town. Youfll need a Certificate of Marriageability from your own embassy; this states you are single and able to marry. Take this, your passport and residence permit (donft forget your spouse-to-be) to the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau to register the marriage where youfll also have to pay a fee. If you are both foreign, one of you must be living in China and youfll need to get married in the town where you are registered.
