The city has turned over its tourist services to the firm Berlin Tourismus Marketing GmbH, which operates several information centres around town. Called Berlin Infostores, they offer multilingual advice and assistance for booking accommodation, sightseeing and cultural activities. They also offer information about trips to the surrounding state of Brandenburg. There’s one right next to the Brandenburg Gate, which is open 10:00 to 18:00 each day. A larger office located in the Hauptbahnhof is open from 08:00 to 22:00 daily. There are also smaller info booths at both Tegel and Schönefeld airports.
