Female visitors should have few if any problems in Berlin, which is a safe place compared to other major international cities. Taking public transport alone should generally be considered secure any time of the day – even in the city’s less salubrious parts. Naturally, harassment and other incidents can and do happen, but in general women in Berlin will be left alone.
