If you are a non-EU spouse of a non-EU citizen who has a work permit or green card, you can apply for a work permit as well. However, the process will be much easier for you than it was for your spouse. You or the employer can apply for a work permit once you have been offered a full-time job in any (legal) sector. Also, the employer does not need to advertise the job before offering it to you and there is no fee. The work permit will be issued for as long as your spouse’s work permit or green card is valid.
