Eat Spargel (Asparagus) In Season

It’s not necessarily something that you’ll be desperate to do, but when spring comes and these oversized albino asparagus start poking their heads above the soil, this is all anyone can seem to talk about. It’s best to just give in, boil it in the special cookers that are suddenly peddled everywhere like umbrellas in a rainstorm, add some hollandaise sauce and serve with ham and potato salad.
