EYFS

In line with the National Curriculum for England, children between the ages of three and five follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum which is specifically designed to prepare them for entry to Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) at school. EYFS focuses on: communication and language, and physical, personal, social and emotional development.

Assessments are made throughout a child’s time at the nursery, creating a profile to help teachers understand the child and tailor a curriculum to suit their development. Children typically attend nursery until Foundation Stage 1. Once they turn four, they start Foundation Stage 2 at a primary school. It’s a good option to prepare children for a British school education.
