While you may be used to visiting a family planning clinic or GP’s office for contraception and sexual health matters, the healthcare system in KL is organised differently. Although the pill may be more easily available here than in your home country and you may be able to buy supplies over the counter, it’s common to visit the gynaecologist for any issues relating to this and other contraceptive methods and for sexual health check ups.
