Organ donation is managed by the National Transplant Resource Centre based at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. It’s not a common practice in Malaysia, with only 25 organ donors in 2007, although the centre is hoping that growing awareness of the facts about organ donation and transplants will result in more donors.
