Head to the larger markets where you can find several tailors in once place and can peruse generous selections of fabrics. It takes approximately one week to complete orders. Expect to pay around ¥400 to ¥600 for curtains, including rod and hooks. The same tailors also make cushions and pillows to order. Re-upholstering will require you to take measurements yourself, or bring in cushions and pillows that the tailors can copy.
