Reconnecting A Landline
If your landline phone bill is not paid within a specified period (usually 30 days), the service will automatically be disconnected in two stages. Firstly, all outgoing calls will be stopped; secondly, after a further 30 days, the line will be disconnected. It is, however, quick and easy to reactivate the line – as long as you pay the overdue bill.
Prerequisites
- Existing residential landline
- Unpaid bill
Procedure
- Etisalat Business Centre, or Etisalat or du outlets.
- Pay the outstanding amount (plus penalty of Dhs.50 if bill exceeds Dhs.500) at an Etisalat or du service centre.
- Outgoing calls (and a disconnected line) will be reconnected within 24 hours.
