Lost and found objects can be dropped off at a police station, and are sent to the lost and found bureau (Bureau Gevonden Voorwerpen) once a day. This is located at 18, Stephensonstraat (Watergraafsmeer), and the telephone number is 559 30 05. If it is your passport that goes missing, contact your embassy straight away. You will need to get a police report before starting the replacement procedure.
