Pet training services are not common in Beijing. Caring for animals as pets is still a new concept, and training schools have not yet found a market. The International Center for Veterinary Services and KK Animal Hospital offer obedience training. Several hospitals in town offer grooming services. A large park on the eastern side of town offers city dogs a day of freedom complete with swimming and jumping facilities.
